Another good piece by RE Bond. She gives us a paranormal rh this time. If i’m not mistaken this is her first PNR. I was not disappointed at all.

Lilith is new to town and starting a new school and immediately catches the eye of the school bad boys. They’re not nice to her for the most part but she gives it back as good as she gets. She does make friends kinda fast with a few of the guys and they may off the teasing. She ends up bonded to one #OOOPSIES however something is wrong with the bond and instead of being protective he wants to tear her to pieces. The guys are determined to figure out what the hell is happening.

Will it be enough though? With sires and neighbors and wolves running interference?

I absolutely loved this story. I finished reading it in a couples of hours, I didn't want to put it down the whole time I was hooked from start to that cliffy. It was truly hard to put down the whole time. I simply cannot wait for part 2. Lilith is the kind of girl who doesn’t take crap especially from the Shadow Brother's who runs the school she's had the misfortune of going to in her senior year. If you like your vampires on the tall, dark, sexy, broody side then you dont want ro miss out on this book as part 2 is coming soon. A must read.

Had me giggling and kicking my feet. I love the guys, and the FMC is wild. It's so funny.

Super fun read!

I love R.E. Bond and I love a good vampire story so I was very excited to read this one. I’m quite picky about PNR books and this one did not disappoint. I blew through it in just a couple of hours! I found the style of this book to be different from what you normally expect from her but it wasn’t any less fantastic.

There were definitely a lot of twist and turns in this story. My heart was breaking for Cain and Lil at the end but I’m really excited to see how it all plays out and how all the relationships develop. I’m glad I don’t have to wait long for part 2!

“Be careful out here, Lilith. The darkness hides more monsters than you’ll ever know.”

After her mom remarries, Lilith Maverick was shipped off to a prestigious school, in Dreary Shadows. Trying to make her way through school, she caught the attention of the kings of the school, the Shadow Brothers. Turns out, not everything is as it seems.

Dreary Shadows Part 1 of the Dreary Shadows Duet. I literally finished this book in one sitting. OMG!! I swear, RE Bond is one of those authors that can write any genre. This was freaking amazing. Lilith seriously has huge Rory vibes and I am so for it. I was literally getting emotional whiplash. It was weird, I felt all of the emotions that the guys were projecting onto Lilith. It was beautifully written and definitely well done. As much as I have feelings for all of the guys, I think Ezra and Blade have a special place in my heart. I love those guys sooo much and they were a good comic relief. I literally cannot wait for PT 2!!!

I don’t think I have read a vampire romance in awhile so it was refreshing to read one again. There is the mystery of who exactly are the badass guys and what are they hiding, if there is more going on than what appears. Drama, mysteries, action, it’s an entertaining adventure.

Like the author’s previous heroines, this FMC is strong, sassy and has a past that has made her this way. She has a “doesn’t take anything” attitude that initially attracts the guys to her, while also attracting enemies. She is in high school and I think she acts fairly appropriate for her age.

It’s a slower burn romance but the book doesn’t fall short on the action surrounding the characters. Something is going on and as more was beginning to be revealed, it looks even more complicated than initially thought. We aren’t left on a brutal cliffhanger, more of a few different theories for what will happen next.

You guys! I LOVED this!

I. NEED. PART. TWO.

I can’t wait to see where she goes next with this story. There’s so many different ways she could go after the cliffhanger in Part One. I didn’t know what exactly to expect with this, just that she was writing a PNR this time. If you’re looking for your next PNR read or are in a slump, I HIGHLY recommend grabbing this.
