I enjoyed this story quite a bit - not as dark as Don't and more romantic than I normally like, but still a good read.

I was really optimistic in the beginning of this book. I liked the setup of the two main characters and how the submissive was still independent and strong in his own life but enjoyed giving in to his Dom. Then in the middle of the book when the drama hit it was like the last part of the book was written by someone completely different and both characters became childish. Plus, there should have been a trigger warning for kidnapping and possible rape that wasn't there and took me by surprise that I just wasn't feeling. I felt that this could've gone in a much better direction than it did.

3.5 stars. I would have given this 4stars, but Tom treatment of Dan was just too much. Too harsh. Too aggressive.

My opinion of the book went down at the end.

______________
My rating - 5 outstanding, 4 - I liked this and will re-read it, 3 - I enjoyed it though may not re-read, 2 - I kept going because I had to see how it ended, 1 - Whatever time I spent with this book is time I'll never get back to my regret.

Well that was kinky. I may not have completely bought the storyline, but it was hot, and I very much enjoyed reading it!

I guess I am getting lazy, but other people usually say it before me, so I am not going into lengthy explanations. Check out Loe's review. It's perfect.

I think I missed about a third of the story because I couldn't get through the sentences. Few times I was so lost, I had to skip paragraphs.

This one, for example. What does this even mean? (Unless it's my English, which is not my native.)

"After hanging up his tattoo machine for paint and airbrushes, it was always the same when he worked body art at different venues away from the tattoo studio."

And then another thing, the kidnapping. Another big WTF? Den didn't know, couldn't have known about the knife. He also had a gag on. Could he cry Monday? I don't think so. Tom fails as a Dom in this book on so many levels, I don't even know where to begin.

2 stars.
