Interesting read

This book has been on my tbr for so long, but I finally read it. If you like it dark and twisted and not bothered about triggers, this book is for you. Selene is brilliant. Posing as a prostitute to hunt the evil in the world. She is the reaper incarnate. She gets more than she bargains for when her latest prey's son and his friends invade her world. Zander hates his father and wants to join forces in the bid to end him and save innocent lives. Santos is a whole level of crazy on his own and feels he's found the woman of his dreams. Darius seems to join that crazy and can't get enough of her. Its blaze that can't stand her and feels she's in the way, until she's gone and now the hunt is on. Great dark romance, rh/who choose. I can't wait to read more.

This was originally written as part of the limited release of the dark anthology "Violent Tendancies " which I was lucky to get.

And this happened to be my favourite story and was so psyched to read that it was going to be turned into a series!!! Cannot wait for the first full sized book!

This is pretty much the same version as in the anthology, but it has been expanded.

Let's be clear. When you picture a bad ass FMC, this one, Selene, should be the chick for you. Strong, independent, confident, able to handle firearms and weapons, can seriously control men using her secuality, she loves sex.. Most of all... She's good at what she does. She's the Reaper Incarnate.

She is basically karma for men who molest, rape and/or kill women, children, boys or girls. You won't know it's her. Who would? This little whore taking out big, important men?

Everything goes smooth until she meets her next targets son, who would be the next target. After his friends begging for her to come to their party she does and as a gang decides to show up to attack she shows off her knife skills a little too easy... Its time for a talk.

Both parties are a little surprised at what they have to say. Deciding to work together, they come up with plan after plan...

But when it comes to the end Selene doesn't make it home and all four guys have grown strongly attached in the same way, yet different.

Blaze is the chosen hunter. The other 3 sit at home. And wait. And wait.
Meanwhile, Selene watches the New York scenery go by as she holds the ledger for the job in her hand.....

Cliffhanger eeeeeek!!! Blaze has to find her!!! Why did she runl! I really thought she would stay!

I received a copy of the book in return for an honest review

Trigger warning ⚠️ There is a little bit of a lot of dark in this. Be sure to check author's warnings before reading.

On a mission for revenge, Selene is determind to drop the corrupt along the way. With badass fighting skills and the skills to manipulate those around, she is getting closer to the man she is searching for.

Who would have expected there to be complications in the form of four men who are connected to her target. They may be just what this girl needs to snag the information she needs and get a little bloody along the way.

I really enjoyed the characters, and the story was fun in a dark sense. I can imagine how strong Selene is, but I do wish there was more about her men when it comes to their strengths, like how hers were shown so clearly. I feel there was some build up that could have benefited the story in different ways but this being a novella makes things limited. Still loved and looking forward to snagging the next book.

The Reaper Incarnate by C.A. Rene & R.E. Bond.

⇢ This book starts out with a bang and Selene is a bloodthirsty badass. She uses her body to seek revenge on the scummiest of men.

⇢ All four guys are amazing, but Santos and Darius would have to be my favorite two by far. Their chemistry together gave me all the feels and I’ve never laughed so hard before. I f**king love Santos with every fiber of my being and would not change a thing about his psycho self.

⇢ This book had everything I never knew I needed. Blood play, knife play, and dirty, filthy smut. Fan-fucking-tastic book. I can’t wait for the second one!
