This was a super easy read. Not even 300 pages. Was a good palette cleanser for the next book I’m reading. Was a cute story predictable summer beach read.

this book is the definition of summer romance. I want to take all of Annabel Monaghan’s sentences and bottle them up to read when I’m looking for a good book. Her writing is funny and beautiful and sad and captures the feeling of summer and second chance romance so beautifully. I enjoyed this so much and am looking forward to reading her other books. Was shocked the book ended there and wanted more Wyatt and Sam.

I think I set my expectations way too high for this one…. Boring. Sam annoyed me. The end. Let’s hope Nora goes off
Script is better.

I’ve unintentionally read 3 books with the same premise in a month. I couldn’t connect to these characters. Just ok.

It was predictable. Friends to lovers, childhood sweethearts, and summer romances. Done before plenty, but this author is so good. She captures 30+ y/o fmc so well and real emotions without making it feel too heavy. I was hoping I wouldn't hate the main characters when the big reveal on why they split happened and I didn't. Well done.
