This book is a part of a 3 part book collaboration called Horned up for the Holidays! Sofia and Samite are the two main characters whose connection you will see grow as you progress through the book. If you enjoy an enemies-to-lovers demon and chef vibes then this book is for you. There is spice within the book but this is a short, quick read!

2.5 stars
*Read for Winterween 2024

This book wasn’t my vibe. I honestly thought it was but as soon as the book opened, I wasn’t feeling it. I didn’t like the lust at first sight; the intimate thoughts they had was a bit weird and over the top considering they were strangers.

I didn’t understand the fire mark entirely, like what does it do (unless it will be discussed in the other books, which I’m not yet sure I’ll read).

It wasn’t super romantic like I was expecting it to be. There were wholesome moments which I enjoyed, hence the 2.5 stars, but there were a lot more that made me cringe and want the book to end already. I’m not a conservative reader, I’ve indulge in smut and erotica novellas and enjoyed some of them, but this was not done according to my liking.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was such a fun, cozy, and spicy holiday read! I really enjoyed the characters. Sofia is somewhat of a recluse in need of someone to bring her out of her shell and insecurities when a demon is literally dropped out of a helicopter and ready to do so! I loved the banter, character development and storyline. This won’t be my last Lucy Limón book!

This was my favorite of the three books in the Winter Bliss series! I feel that Samite embodied more of the true demon characteristics and Sofia’s steely nature only made it that much better. The more they tried to push each other, the closer it brought them together.

A fiery love story that will give you all the feels and leave you hungry for more from this author! As well as hungry for food

I liked Samite most of the time, though sometimes he was a little bit jerk-y (in not a super funny or fun way?), but the way he meshed with Sofia was so fun and spicy! I love that they bond over fancy food, and that first reaction he had to it… wow.

As a note I’ll include in the other two reviews:
I love how the characters interconnect with the other two books in the trilogy, and matches a very similar vibe although they have different authors! (Although I do think this one stands out a little more, just due to Samite’s… fixated thought process)

did not like this mmc, love the fmc rep, this book skipped over pretty important details and their connection felt very shallow
