Considering I did not like Sometimes I Lie, this was quite a step up. I am not an avid consumer of thrillers but I am pretty good at predicting plot points/etc. I can honestly say that I did not predict this one, and it was a pretty good plot twist. I didn't care for the subsequent twists though?? It kind of felt tacked on and convoluted. It was very bingeable though I found the beginning very slow, it only picked up the pace at about 70%. It is very much about unreliable narrators though so if you don't like that, you won't like this book.

I have an unpopular opinion, but I felt like dragging my finishing the book integrity characteristic to finish reading this book because I absolutely was bored by the first half. I am glad that the second half was good. Though I still like His & Hers way more than this book, I don't know, but I just missed a genuine thriller in it. The ending was great, so I am satisfied.

⭐️ 3.5 rating. This book is indeed a SLOW burn. The first quarter of the book feels like a sneeze that never comes. But a little past half way through it gets good and you have to finish it! I’m glad I did. It gives a lot of twist and turns and reminds me of Verity as I had just finished reading that book. I once saw a review saying if you read Verity and liked it, read Rock, Paper, Scissors. I see the similarities with the letters from the character, although not as suspenseful, it was worth finishing!
