Rock paper scissors is my first Alice Feeney book but it most certainly won’t be my last. In this book we follow Adam and Amelia who in search of meaning their marriage, take a trip to a remote chapel in Scotland to mend what has been broken. As the story progresses we then are introduce to a new POV by a woman named Robin. When all the revelations came to light and the twist was revealed I was jaw to the floor in awe. I never saw the twists coming and they were magnificent! I highly recommend this book. If you like twisty psychological thrillers you’ll love this one.

It was a good book and had me hooked the whole time. Towards the end it was interesting to see how the story unraveled and what I was reading all along started to make more sense. I wish the ending had a bit more to it.

My first Alice Fenney read and likely won’t be my last! The first 2/3 or so of the book were slow and didn’t really keep me on the edge of my seat. The spooky stuff in the Chapel? Very cool and thrilling. The anniversary letters? I couldn’t care less except it made me think Adam was a jerk for how he treated/thought about his wife.
Now the last third?? Holy cow. Lots of twists and turns. Right when I thought I knew what the twist was going to be, it completely changed course.
