“No one wants a dandelion.
They crop up all over the place, ugly and unfortunate, an average blossom in a world desperatly seeking beauty. They're weeds, people say. They're uninteresting and offer no fragrance and there are too many of them, too much of them, we don't want them, destroy them.
Dandelions are a nuisance,
We desire the buttercups, the daffodils, the morning glories. We want the azalea, the poinsettia, the calla lily. We pluck them from our gradens and plant them in our homes and we don't seem to remember their toxic nature.
We don't seem to care that
if you get too close?
if you take a small bite?
The beauty is replaced wit pain and laced with a posion that laughs in your blood, destroys your organs, infevts your heart.
But pick a dandelion.
Pick a dandelion and make a salad, eat the leaves, the flower, the stem. Thread it in your hair, plant it in the ground and watch it thrive.
Pick a dandelion and close your eyes
make a wish
blow it into the wind.

Watch it
change
the
world.”

Loved Warner's POV and Juliette's diary. Adam's POV was a bit meh :(

3.5/5 ⭐️

I’m going to keep it short,
I liked it, it was fast-paced (like the other books), and we get important in-tell/thoughts from Warner and Adams perspective.
There’s not really anything to dislike about it. It’s a very tiny book. Didn’t really keep me on the edge of my seat, but I already knew what kind of book I was getting into, so I’m not disappointed.
All in all, pretty good. Kind of hesitated on using the word “good”. It was pretty decent.

It DID take me a while to finish, because I kept taking breaks in-between. I don’t think that really matters but just in case it does, now you know.

ALSO, I wanna add that Juliette’s journal part has me bring out my markers. And I’ve (almost) NEVER annotated my books.

Fracture me made me realize how much Adam is underestimating Juliette. And It ended so frustratingly… does he even actually love her? Cause I was NOT getting that vibe.
I’m going to stop ranting.

Meh. I adored Destroy me (Warner’s POV)—4⭐️. Fracture Me (Adam’s POV)—2.5⭐️—was a total dud. Also, why was Juliette’s Journal even included? Most (possibly all but I’m too tired to check the previous books at the moment) of the entries we have already seen. Overall, I am glad I read this because it will probably give me some helpful background knowledge/context for the remainder of the series.

I made the mistake of getting the novellas after the story so its very hard to judge the characters based on what i was supposed to feel instead of what i know about them from the rest of the series

Destroy me:
kinda meh tbh
Just Aaron talking about being in love with juliette and how nobody but him understands her and how wrong she was to choose adam.
1.I still , even after reading the whole series, dont understand how he fell in love with her , like they had no proper conversations , is it just how she looked, or the fact she was constantly rejecting him. I just dont understand where his infatuation for her came from.
2.Taking and reading the only possesion she has had in her life is clearly NOT understanding her. Violating and invading her privacy just because you “feel” like you have something in common with her. Reading her darkest thoughts and feelings from when she was LOCKED UP IN AN INSANE ASYLUM , does not make you suddenly entitled to know her.
3.I know they end up together and blah blah blah blah. But i just find it so annoying how the whole time he feels like he has a right to her , and how her CHOICE to be with Adam is stupid. Its the first human interaction she had after over 200 days, of course its more special to her than some random guy kidnapping her and claiming to be in love with her.
All this novella did for me was bring back my burning hatred for book 1 Aaron Warner.
I get hes depressed and has daddy issues but it doesnt excuse how he treated juliette , even after finding out his real motivations.
But my queen juliette and my king Kenji managed to forgive him , so here i am. Him and Juliette are cute together in the end , though she does become like his only good feauture , without her he became horrible again but you know. If booktok loves Aaron Warner i will look past it

Fracture me:
I only really liked Adam after him and juliette escaped the reestablishment. Like yk when they live with James and then when they first get to omega point. But he was kinda whiny and annoying in unravel me like he got on my nerves a lot.
BUT I LOVED THIS NOVELLA SO MUCH
HIM AND JAMES , UGH SO CUTE
I just liked Adam in this novella
I do not like the way he continuously belittled juliette and her strength , like, exuse me? DID SHE NOT NEARLY KILL YOU AND KENJI ON LIKE MULTIPLE OCCASIONS. DID SHE NOT LIKE CAUSE A WHOLE EARTQUAKE TWICE.
But i really liked seeing him and James together so yk that lifts it up

I’m glad I had the pov’s form both main male characters. One I started to like much more, the other - loathe more.
