'Two women once more showing that when heads are put together, something amazing--and hot--is born. Helmets on, we're going for a ride'

Thank you once again to Mariah Thayer & K.O.Newman for providing me with an ebook Advanced Readers Copy of this novel for me to read and leave an honest review. Mariah & K.O. are always on the hunt for willing ARC-ers so if you're up for reading, supporting & promoting these ladies, hit them up on Instagram at @mariathayerwrites & @konewmanauthor respectively :)

We're back at it again with the Blood Moon Risers Motorcycle Club (BMRMC) and with this new chapter of the club's story (pun intended), Hot Moon. This is book three in the series, taking us to haunting Huntsville, Alabama.

The series so far is as followed:

-Crow Moon (Crow & Hex)
-Pink Moon (Justice, Dom & Reno - MMF)
-Flower Moon (Poppy, Firestarter, Daemon & Gryphon - MFMM)
-Hot Moon (Ajax & Lash - MM)

Thunder Moon, newly announced today on release day (plus a pretty FWOAR cover reveal...), will be up next with Hellbore, Peach & Cherry. Not the 'Cherry' from K.O.'s other story, though. Different woman, but with the same name. Can't blame K.O. for wanting to use the name again, it's a pretty poppin' name, if I do say so myself.

Hot Moon takes a turn in a different direction compared to the other books in this series, as this was these two authors' first time writing a MM (male male) romance for this series. So far we've seen a mix of straight, threesome and foursome steamy romances, its time for you all to meet Ajax & Lash in their own story. Lash we've met before, but never like this. Lash is unleashed and Ajax has him whipped, no matter if he likes it or not.

This is the first book in the series in which there has been some resistance with the characters within. By that I mean they weren't jumping each other's bones the moment they knew they were fated mates. By no means is this a bad thing, as it changes the pace from what we've been used to so far, to something that the story will work up to happening. You know what I'm talking about. K.O. & Mariah have taken the time to focus the story less about what goes on under the sheets and more what happens outside of them, and I'm all here for it. We learn the two halves of the same whole (to-be), before they come together. Again, pun intended.

An insane amount of research and detail has also gone into this novel in particular. All of the books in this series have been incredibly informative into all things spiritual, witchy etc, but Hot Moon dives deeper. I personally picked up more on the gods, meanings of things and practises that happen within magical circles club members are a part of. For someone such as myself who comes from a background of zero knowledge of these kinds of things and beyond, I'm learning so much through the writing of these two ladies and the characters and stories that spill forth from their fingertips.

Now, onto something a little fun. I've always guessed who wrote what character and so far, my track record has been pretty even. Some right, some not so much. So, ladies, here I go. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that K.O. wrote Lash's character, and Mariah wrote Ajax. *Crosses fingers*

Without spoiling it too much, by far my favourite part of the book (besides the times Lash and Ajax spent together doing the devil's tango), were the ending chapters. Things wrapped up nice and neat for Lash & Ajax's chapter of the BMRMC journey, but another also began and it looks SOOO promising! Not to say that Hot Moon didn't, but Mariah & K.O. wove the next chapter of the journey into the ending of this book SO well, it has to be complimented! Hellbore sounds like a hoot and everyone knows how I love a good inject of comedy into my reads. Even if its not as the main genre/trope.

All in all, I think both ladies should once again be very proud of themselves. I know they are of each other as co-writers of these amazing books, but from a reader's POV I'm telling them both right here and now that this is a winning series right here. I've failed yet to give it anything less than five stars and I can hand-on-heart say that it truly doesn't deserve anything less. The inclusivity, the diversity, the steam/romance/fated mate nature of the books are just perfection personified, and if I had a choice to pick which books would've been my introduction into the paranormal world (as a teen when I absolutely was BESOTTED by the genre), these ladies and their books would've been my inspiration and holy grails.

Ladies, this has been a pleasure. I can't wait for you two bring the 'thunder' with your next novel.

Five stars!

Lash and Ajax, fated mates. Have a steamy story. I liked that there was a bit of hesitance between this couple. The characters are gun. As Lash was introduced earlier in the series, I am so happy that he got his own story. This is well written with fantastic detailed.
