The candy cane dick part was promising, but the story itself was not exciting, and I had to scan the last third as I was not particularly invested into the characters. The writing was also weird, and because of that the third-act conflict was truly laughable. Like, I guessed the motivation, but it read like pure clownery. Also, the heroine is a virgin, and this whole ‘go harder’ thing rubbed me the wrong way.

Oh hello. This book was delightful. Cupid and a dragon Santa?? Come on, ya gotta. This was my first official "monster" romance and I'll be checking out more now.

There are very few things

That make me question myself.
This is one of them. Not the fact that I read it...the fact that I enjoyed it. Dragon shifters, elves, cupids, Christmas magic with knotting and optional breeding. Enjoying books like this definitely keeps me in the naughty list.
P.s. love Xó's name

The monster/fantasy part was a bit weird. I mean, why a dragon (or what) would decide to become Santa? This whole part stood on weak legs.

But it was a good story, though. Easy and spicy with some Christmas feels.

Absolutely lovely, I am not normally a fan of the virgin FMC but because she isnt a teenager I don't mind. The breeding at the end was 10/10

Somehow I missed the "erotica" tags for this book, oh well. Dear Monster Claus is exactly as its described: an erotic novella following Xo, a cupid that desires to experience love for herself and begins writing letters daily to Santa, later revealed to be a dragon named Arson, in hopes that he'll grant her this in a gift. Instead, he shows up on her doorstep and they make a deal: she helps him get his holiday spirit back and he helps her find love.
(Arson helping Xo find love starts with romance lessons such as kissing, flirting, and orgasms).

The story quickly moves on from there following Xo and Arson as they work on their deal, eventually falling in love with each other, but mostly having sex. I loved the explanation of each character's holidays and how they lived their lives, how holidays were created by things they did many years ago. I was intrigued by the lore and would love to know more
(ex: sucking on candy canes started from BJs due to the dragon's having red and white stripped privates and tasting like peppermint.)
Some were wild and silly but still interesting to read how the author weaved the story together. Since I did miss the erotica part, I was not expecting the amount of smut in the story. The plot felt quick, especially when the main characters proclaimed their love for each other. I would have enjoyed reading more about the characters and their budding romance. Besides that, I enjoyed the story and would continue reading more from the author.
