Rebels & Rejects

Rebels and Rejects is book one in the Black Creek series. A dark reverse harem series.

After devouring the Pacific Prep series and absolutely loving Hadley and her harem of course I needed Black Creek in my life. We get a small teaser of this world in Pacific Prep with Beck being friends with Cain & Oliver, also with Hadley’s lets call them adventures haha.

Rebels and Rejects contuse on within the same time line after the ending of Break Free (Book 4 in Pacific Prep) but we dive into how Sawyer’s life become entwined with our Rejects.

I found this to be such an easy read. The character builds up flows brilliantly. Sawyer is a fiery red headed badass, but I expect nothing else from Rachel’s characters. I’m so keen to see where her story takes up.

Without giving spoilers I definitely have some potential harem favourites. But this is a slow burn, while Rachel writes with a romance plot it never overshadows the actual base or plot of the series/book and I love that. I’m totally here for the smut and the spice, but plot takes the wheel here.

Also excuse me, but that epilogue! I may have done a happy squee, because it leads to so many possibilities and I am totally here for it!

Holy crap! Rachel killed it with Book one! Red is such a bad ass chick! And Oliver ugh I just love him so much! Cain too. This is totally a 10/10 for me. I could not put it down once I started! I had to devour it! Rachel sure knows how to suck you into a story and not let you go! Im in a total book hangover! This one is definitely a 5-star read. It will hold your attention throughout the whole book! i can not wait to see what the rest of the series holds!

This book impressed me with not only the well thought out characters, but the insane world building that the author did. You can tell time and effort was put into this book to make such a detailed story. This is one of the first RH I’ve ever read and it’s wild how natural this author makes it feel. I’ve been getting bored with series and focusing on stand alones, but with how captivating this story it, I can see myself flying through this series!

A typical revenge mafia reverse harem romance with some sex but a slow burn romance. I like the strong female lead and will read the next one.

Ma’am you write some of the best baddie FMCs I freaking can’t get over how selfless they are. Sawyer is life she is a baddie that doesn’t take crap from anyone she takes care of dirt bags and lives and survives in Black Creek. She would do anything and everything to protect the loves she loves. She would sacrifice herself to make sure they are protected. Then we have Cain and Oliver and some other mystery players that we don’t know quite where their cards will fall but let me tell you we are in for one wild AF ride and I am here for it!!

8/10⭐️

Wow. This is my first book by this author and I’m in love! I don’t know if she usually does this but this book was a lot of character building and world development. The action started later on in the book but it was so important to have that info. Sawyer I mean jeez I wanna be her! This book has me so hyped up for the rest of the series!
