Iron flower is a story about a female warrior. The book doesn't lack for gory description, and tales of possession, dark magic, and camaraderie of friends in this warriors life. I couldn't really get into this style of writing and the heroine didn't really interest me. The whole zombie part in the prologue really turned me off of the book, well because I don't really like zombies. I gave it three stars because the book has really great descriptive scenes, but unfortunately the genre wasn't for me. I like sexy females, and well Rose didn't fit that for me.
