I can’t stand the fact that its an “insta love” with a 15-year-old girl and how the author justifies it

My dad recommended this one to me and absolutely loved it. Me? Not so much (but don't tell Dad).

First of all, whiny Nola really got on my nerves! Always swinging back and forth between total ecstasy and mental breakdowns. I felt like she was ALWAYS talking with exclamation points at the ends of her sentences. And I can't help but still feel like the relationship between her and Harry was kind of creepy. In the beginning she did seem like a pretty cool girl, but afterwards all she did was make sandwiches and cry or laugh. Not so interesting.

Furthermore, I'm annoyed that we didn't know what Marcus' book was about. And the cheesy writing tips were good sometimes but other times they were a bit too much. I mean, I love reading and writing but at some point, I don't know, you're just writing a book not revealing the secret to eternal life or whatever. If you like to write then just get to work and write a damn book instead of overthinking the whole thing and wasting your time coming up with those super "profound" tips, Harry.

So yeah, the story was interesting in the beginning and very intriguing, the writing was not bad either. I really liked Robert, he was pretty funny.

By the end, however, it was stretching on and on. Just get on with the mystery and stop telling me every detail about the characters' lives! I know those details sometimes had to do with the mystery but at other times it was just way too long for nothing.

Last of all, there were too many random twists near the end, it was getting confusing. "N'importe quoi."All of a sudden Nola has psychotic issues? What?? Where did that come from? She was normal whenever Harry met up with her...

I don't know, I didn't love it but I can see why some would like it, I guess.
Bonus: the author is hot. hahaha.

Definitivamente acompanharei outros do autor.
