Definitely interesting. Curious the perspective of a Christie fan, as I knew very little about her prior to reading. Compelled to read some Agatha Christie now.
I cringed the entire way through this book. That's a lot of supposition about a persons feelings, and not very flattering supposition. This interpretation made one of my favorite authors just really didn't sit well with me. Did Mrs. Christie feel this way? Perhaps. There is no way to know. But to create thoughts and feelings for a historical figure... that's tricky ground, and I alternated between gritting my teeth and rolling my eyes the entire way through this whiny interpretation.
To be fair, I know better to read anything by Benedict. She does such a great job at choosing all of my favorite subjects, but her and I have very different opinions and views, and I tend to bristle at how she portrays the historical figures I love.

A nice mistery based on Agatha Christie's real life. Easy reading, well thread between two times lines that coincide in the end.
I really enjoyed this mystery wrapped in historical fiction. I did not anything about Agatha Christie's personal life, so this was interesting on several levels.
The story is told in alternating timelines: beginning with Agatha's early relationship with her husband and alternating with the time of her disappearance.
This narrative device allows the readers to speculate all sorts of scenarios as the story unfolds.
Recommend to all Agatha Christie fans in addition to your mystery-suspense readers. Perhaps they will be the new Christie fans!
