"You came back to me." —Lee
"And you came back to me." —Annie

Sobbing Weeping Wheezing Screaming Bawling Crying Choking Throwing Up. Where do I began?

From the very first chapter I know that this book would get me over the edge. I'm a bit mad and upset when I found out there's a map on Munda's website; yet this kindle version that I read doesn't have any map in it. It force me to keep switching screen while the book mentioned some parf of the certain area.

Annie and Lee relationship's dyamics are more developed if compare to Flamefall.
The scene that thrilled me so much I nearly got my eyeballs out is when Pallor and Lee are finally be able to kill Edmund and Envy easily, even has no doubt that they'd be equal in a duel despite Pallor small form.
Pallor and Aela commical interaction is heartwarming so much I nearly burst my heart out of my sternum. The way Pallor take care of Aela asdahfjhdfh weeping sobbing wheezing crying throwing up. Aaaand the way Annie and Lee affected by their dragons feeling towards each other, uhm not to mention the oyster scene👀 And at the beginning of Chapter 29 🥵👁🫦👁 The unfairness of how came Rosaria Munda got us giggling and wheezing in contenment only to had us weeping and screaming pain!??!?
I will never recover from Pallor's death. And the fact that Aela is sharing a bond with Lee because of the bond that she shares with Pallor even when he's dead is got me weeping wheezing screaming crying.
Pallor and Aela will always hold special place in my heart yet again🥹🫶🏻🤍🧡

I like Griff and Delo banter towards each other and I wish I got to see more of them. Ixion, well... I'm satisfied enough with his ending.
He deserved that tragic ways to die, I even hope he got more tragic-er ways to die.
And also, how so many people still have the heart to like Power?! I mean he's a traitotous d!ck and a lot more worse.
He deserved to find his own destiny like that. I am still too denial to admit that his character is not that kind of bad,
but stil I hate him so much—I wish I can jump into the book and kill him myself from the very fisrt of Fireborne.
And he is more that deserved to meet his own death, I hope in more tragic way if it's possible duh.

The plot is good enough even though I felt like something is lack from it. The ending is perfect enough although it felt like a bit rush.

As for my self, I always naming a series based on how I felt when reading it—yep, another series designation found, The Aurelian Cycle aka series stress bikin emosi💥🏃🏻‍♀️

Basically a perfect book. The emotional response the book got out of me was more than I expected. The characters are amazing, the plot resolves in a fantastic way, and the themes and promises of the series are fulfilled in an amazing way. I look forward to any other books by Rosaria Munda - these books were amazing, and I'm only looking forward to reading more from her.
