I'm really surprised that I finished it. That's probably why I gave it two stars instead of one. I was able to identify with the main character a few times, but it was rare. Different social group, different money group. Also I didn't really feel she had a connection with her son and I thought she was bad one in the marriage. I would NOT recommend this to anyone.

I wasn't a fan of this. I didn't find hardly anything in the book funny - if anything the majority of the conversations were just bizarre. I never grew to care about Izzy or anyone else. This is the second book by Jennifer Belle that I haven't really enjoyed so I suspect there's something about her characters that don't resonate with me.
