Two and a half stars. It'd be three and half but Trent just turns my stomach. I don't see the appeal of that relationship.

Strong character development, coupled with readers' emotions being pulled all over the place, makes this a great read.

Kim Harrison never disappoints. Million Dollar Demon is packed full with conflicts. Tensions are running high. Constance is coming town as the Master Vampire. She leads by fear. She won't stop until the leaders bend a knee. Good luck getting Rachel to bend a knee or leave the city.

Kim Harrison kept me entertained for hours and hours. When I reached the final page I had been put through the ringer and loved every minute. I can't wait for the next book to see what chaos Rachel will be causing. I know it will be just as amazing as all of her past books.

7/6/21 Listen to the audiobook. Devour the audiobook. Freaking amazing. The narrator did a fantastic job of bringing the story to life.

There is always something to love about a new Hollows book. The immersive world building and charming characters always offer a new, somehow realistic take on this world, and I always come away thinking I've learned something new, and loving Rachel just a little bit more.

What do I need to say about Rachel Morgan that hasn't already been said? She is still her strong-willed, big-hearted self, and continues to learn and grow as a person. Her enemies are quite a mix this time around: Pike is about as morally grey as they come, and Constance is horrifying.

I thought the plot offered a unique challenge to Rachel, even as it followed the Hollows formula: Something simple explodes into something big, and there are deadly consequences until Rachel steps up to take charge. There are plenty of storylines left open for future books, and I'm certain Rachel won't be finding any rest any time soon.

This series is great for long time fans who miss the colorful cast and want to see more of them. Even after so many books, it still has its charm and fun and excitement. I would recommend the entire series to anyone who is looking for top-notch, engaging, fun urban fantasy.

Could not put this book down and if I could have had it last longer I would have. Loved how this one went, and enjoyed being along for the ride that is never easy for Rachel.

I could not wait to get my hands on this book! Thank you to NetGalley, for the chance to read this ARC! I adore Rachel Morgan, the Hollows, and all of the characters in this series, I cannot tell you how happy I was when I found out, last year, that we would be getting more of Rachel's story.

In Million Dollar Demon Rachel is facing off against another master vampire, and this one is crazier than the ones she has dealt with in the past. Some of our series favorites take a back seat for this story, but we get to know some new characters better. I am really liking Pike! I hate that Rachel is on the outs with Al, but I am enjoying her interactions with Hodin. We see a bit more of Zach (and the power he wields).

The wrap up to this book felt like an ending, which a really hope isn't true! There are still a couple story lines that need to be finished, and I really don't want to be left without closer!

I was disappointed in Rachel's comeback in American Demon. But this? This book featured the Rachel I had come to know and love in the entire series. While I missed Ivy, it was nice to have Rachel just be Rachel and do what she does best.
