The story itself was interesting, but I didn't really care about the characters because most of them were never mentioned before, but I liked reading more about Wilf and Lee and about their little adventure.

But what I heard a lot of people say and that's my opinion as well:

The last sentence was the most important one.

It gave the whole trilogy a perfect ending and I loved it. I even teared up.

Such a great ending.

Nifty little extra - like the good bits after the trailers!

My emotions while reading, in order of appearance: Confusion (How much time has passed since MoM? Who are all these people?). Creeped out (the Snowscape). Heartbroken (the truth about the Snowscape). Shocked (Mikkelsen). Happy (Viola). Goosebumps (Viola's message).

4.5 stars for another enthralling short story in the Chaos Walking series.

I finished [b:Monsters of Men|18823982|Of Monsters and Men My Head Is an Animal|Of Monsters and Men|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1404958369s/18823982.jpg|26765914], I exhaled slowly, I told my family (surrounding me in the car) that I was done, and how much I liked it. Then I plunged into Snowscape. At first it was weird to meet so many new characters, but that quickly passed. It was the perfect thing to read after finishing the series. Thank you, Mr. Ness.

WHOA. That was so good. Amazing. The snowscape was so interesting and unique! I love love loved it! Now I feel sort of sad though, because of the ending. It made me miss that world Ness created, I miss Chaos Walking so much! I wish he'd never stop writing books for that series.. Anyway. I would recommend reading all of the three ebooks Patrick wrote, they are all fantastic.
