GAH! My heart! This was my first Colleen Hoover book and I LOVED it!!! I wasn't sure how I felt in the middle, but the ending made up for it! Ridge is amazing, and I love him. I just needed to say that. Add him to my long list of book boyfriends. ALSO, I'm a musician so I OBVIOUSLY loved the songwriting aspect to this story, and I LOVE how COHO collaborated with Griffin Peterson with the music. It just made it even more amazing. It was awesome. While I was reading the lyrics in the book I was ALSO listening to the actual song. It made my soul happy. My heart ached for these characters, and although some of their decisions drove me nuts, I understood them all. ahhhhh I loved this. I laughed, I cried, I sang along to the AWESOME accompanying soundtrack, and I fell in love with these amazing characters. All the feels. ANYWAY, in conclusion you should read this. Just do it, 'cause you won't regret it. You're welcome.

P.S (BOOK RANT BUDDY, you better believe you're getting a rant about this book!!)

There is no excuse for cheating. Do not ever romanticize it. This so problematic in whatever way you look at it.

This is the best CoHo book I have read so far. That isn't saying much.

Sydney was... mostly tolerable. Ridge is a walking red flag. The cheating is excruciating, et cetera. The beginning, until they met, was actually enjoyable.

Honestly, the concept of a deaf musician and someone who makes lyrics to the musician's song in private, but them falling in love, is a good one. I liked those bits.
