The whole second act was a bit over-the-top for me.

these books are just fun, fluff with supernaturals thrown in, and I love it.

A Fun Paranormal Romance Tale.

I've been enchanted by this series. They are quick, easy reads that warm my heart and put a smile on my face.

Kristen Painter has created a wonderful paranormal world as a backdrop for her cosy romance stories. The town of Nocturne Falls in Georgia is inspired. I love her writing style and find it very easy to read. I enjoy all the characters that she creates and the variety of personalities that they exhibit. Each character has strengths that I admire but also have negative traits that they have to overcome before they can find their happy ever after.

The story in this book is not unique. However, I loved the journey Kristen took us on, with its twists and turns. How the relationship between Willa and Nick evolved and grew was beautiful and felt believable.

I downloaded the Audible version of this book and was impressed with B.J. Harrison's performance. The pace of his narration was just right. The emotions he portrayed during the different scenes felt credible. His character voices were not hugely different from one another. However, I enjoyed his vocal variances for the dialogue and was never confused to was speaking.

There is absolutely no offensive content within these pages - language, violence or sex. Therefore, I can recommend The Gargoyle Gets His Girl to lovers of charming, paranormal romance tales of any age. Especially those readers who enjoy a sprinkling of humour and a happily ever after ending.

There is a bonus chapter at the end for the next book in the Nocturne Falls series. I've already added it to my wish list.

This was really sweet... although i did find the Narrators rendition of Willa a little off putting... she sounded like a drag queeen.... Still the Narrator is brilliant with all other voices so far....

Nick and Willa are an unlikely coupling but one they fight for as Willa has to outsmart her past.

Brilliant!

The Gargoyle Gets His Girl is book three in the Nocturne Falls series by Kristen Painter.

This is a quirky series. It’s fun and enjoyable. I like the concept of Nocturne Falls and it’s town full of supernaturals.

We meet Nick, the gargoyle a retired military man who is trying to make a life in Nocturne Falls. We also meet Willa, a Fae who can control metal and stone. She is the resonant jeweler.

Both have hurdles to jump over and issues to resolve. I like Willa. She’s strong and smart. I also liked Nick. He was a unique Gargoyle.

Their romance is light-hearted. It’s an instalove, yet this one took a little longer, but still instalove. I liked how Nick and Willa meet. I also liked learning about Willa’s past. There’s plenty of intrigue and Fae action.

The Gargoyle Gets His Girl was an enjoyable read.

Rated: 3.5 Stars

Such a nice book. I just read this one of the series and i understood it perfectly. That makes it even better because their story is unique. Love it. Recommend if you love gargoyles.

I just think though that the title could be better. The story is so much about Willa and they end up getting each other. So I would apreciate a title with the word gargoyle but in a different perspective. Anyway great story
