Each of these Christmas-themed stories are unique, sweet and uplifting. I enjoyed The Christmas Express the most of the three, though each was charming and only slightly predictable in the best ways. This collection was exactly the kind of read I wanted for the holiday season and it delivered the perfect amount of rom-com cheer and feels. Now I’m off to find out how to book that magical train…

So unfortunate that the overall rating is so low. The second story was sweet and perfect. Too bad the first and third were hot garbage with unlikable characters (story 1) and stilted dialogue (story 3).

I received a copy of this book in a Goodreads giveaway.
All of the stories were very cute, Hallmark-y, and heartwarming. Nothing particularly mind blowing, but I wasn’t expecting it to be. If you are looking for some cute, romantic holiday stories these hit the spot.

I liked the 1st and 3rd stories, but not really the 2nd one. The two good ones were cute. I think the last one was the cutest and my favorite.

Thank you to Thomas Nelson, Sheila Robert’s, Melissa Ferguson, Amy Clipston, and NetGalley for a gifted copy in exchange for an honest review.

I am not usually a fan of shorter stories, but I will read ANYTHING Christmas! I had hoped these three stories would be connected, but that was not the case. Each is its own stand alone and they are very different from each other.

The first story was enjoyable. I liked the message and seeing the change and growth with our lead female. She showed that while it can be hard to make amends and apologize, even if it’s been years, it is better late than never to do so.

The second story was by far my favourite! A Christmas train?!? SIGN ME UP! I really enjoyed the characters, the setting and the story. I loved the many different friendships shown and it was overall fun and cute.

The final story was my least favourite. I liked the premise of the story, but did not feel any sort of connection to the characters and was not a fan of the writing style. I had the hardest time getting into this one and actually considered not finishing it.

Overall it was an entertaining book that I am glad I picked up. If you enjoy Christmas stories give this one a try!!!
