A sweet, melancholy little story that captures a certain tenderness that comes with love. I adored the illustrations that came with the play and the little songs. Nessie is such a sweetheart, you can't help but adore her.

A beautiful tale about love and loss - this felt like a brief vignette, a bit unfinished but still satisfying to glimpse. There were many illuminating moments that just felt very true, and the characters were flawed but loveable. Interesting illustration style as well - a very quick read, but one to ponder.
Graphic: Grief
Moderate: Religious bigotry, Mental illness, and Deadnaming
Minor: Abandonment
