This felt like a love-filled look at struggling with depression within a relationship, heartbreak, and familial relationships. It hit me really hard and left me tender for the rest of the day after finishing, but it was so good.
Moderate: Racial slurs, Racism, Transphobia, Religious bigotry, Homophobia, and Mental illness

I loved this book! I found the characters to be incredibly human - they had flaws, made mistakes, were confused about who they were. I appreciate when characters aren't reduced to tropes - especially when they're not "good" or "bad." Both the writing and the art are gorgeous.
