Defiently one of my new favorite books of the year! I LOVED it.

At points, this felt like someone programmed an AI to write a cliche teen romance novel. The pacing was very fast and did not allow for substantial character development. Because of this, I didn’t feel invested in any of the characters. Scottie and Irene did not have chemistry and their relationship felt forced. There were also several spelling and grammar mistakes. Overall, not a terrible book, but a bit disappointing. I’d still recommend it for the LGBT representation; this book will help some kid.

This was a book I needed!

It’s a cute love story between two girls, but it’s also so much more. The main character has been in a very toxic relationship and hasn’t got over that break up witch is what causes most of the problems in the book.

I knew they would get together in the end sense it’s a romance, witch is why I got mad when the main character did the wrong thing and didn’t think about the consequences of her actions. But now when I have finished the book was that such an important lesson for them both. I also believe it were a great lesson for myself, to realize that I need to love myself and find happiness within before reaching that from someone else!

I needed this book both to come bout of a beginning of a reading slump but also to be more sure about myself! It’s a cute book and it might be a bit cringe, but that’s what I liked about it. It’s a cute romance with an important lesson, at least for me and the main character.

It took me nearly 6 hours to read this book!

I loved she drives me crazy way more than I thought I would. full of good tropes, v diverse and deep cast of characters. I found them all really loveable and it was just way better than I thought it would be!

I now understand why the book is called “She Drives Me Crazy.”

I liked this book though I did have some problems with the main character in the beginning, she was a little too mean to the love interest imo. But she does grow throughout the book thankfully losing her ‘I’m not like other girls’ air. Overall really enjoyed but I really wished I would have read this in the winter.

This book was so easy to read if I hadn't started it so late at night I would have read it in one go which I don't normally do... and I guess I didn't this time but I literally picked it up to read twice and then it was done.

Now it's not exactly the most groundbreaking pieces of literature but it's a nice story that has a bunch of fun tropes like mean girls, fake dating, misunderstandings, enemies to lovers, jockXcheerleader and they happen to be sapphic and includes a WOC as one of the main characters.

Despite how tropey it is, it also does tackle some important topics like homophobia in school, coming out, sense of self and quite an interesting take on coming of age and getting over a break up. Scotty's journey to getting over her ex-girlfriend is not a smooth one and maybe I just don't read enough straight up romance YA books but it was a take I hadn't really seen much of.

If you like YA romance or just want to read a sapphic romance then this is a fun one if the characters are all secretly depressed AF but if that's not your genre, I don't think this is going to be the one to change your mind.

This book was fun and silly and sweet. Very classic high school romance hitting hard on the enemies-to-lovers and fake dating tropes.
