Charmer was a great book.
I loved reading about Nico and Kat.
Tate was so cute and I really enjoyed reading Charmer.
funny lighthearted medium-paced

Cute, lighthearted story.

When I read Sleeper, I was enchanted by the characters, Shane and Willa. They had a lovely story with Nico as a secondary character. Nico is Willa’s older brother and Shane’s best friend. So of course I wanted to know Nico’s story! Now I read his story and I have to say, it’s as charming and lovely as Sleeper! And what’s even better, we get to see Shane and Willa as a married couple and have a brief interlude with the fabulous twins, Summer and Lucky.

I got a better sense of who Nico is in this book. He’s a singer/songwriter, not as famous as Shane but with a very good following. He keeps a journal where he writes every event that happens to him, his feelings about things, etc. He writes snippets of thoughts that later turn into songs. He has a new single called Sleeper that he wrote about Shane and Willa. He’s very close to them, as well as Grammy, his very cool grandmother.

When Nico moved to Beachwood Canyon to be nearer his sister and Shane, he started going to The 101 Coffee Shop because that’s where everybody went. There he meets Kat and he’s immediately enthralled with her. To the point that he wasn’t interested in any other woman after that, and he usually has many opportunities. After one month of waiting to get her attention, they have a thirty second date, as in, the time it takes for Nico to escort Kat to her car. Nico is even more enthralled with Kat but there’s a strange reluctance in her, even though it’s evident that she likes him.

Eventually we find out the reason for her reluctance, he gets her to join him in his upcoming tour as his videographer and we get lots of fun and sexy times, as well as funny as heck moments. The rest of the book is fun and heartfelt, Nico falls in love very early in the book, Kat is more slow and hesitant because her life has been different and she has other responsibilities. I loved reading about life in the bus and between Nico and Kat. There are a couple of laugh out loud moments and many lighthearted moments. Two important hilarious moments are the Toiletgate incident and the fart jokes. Priceless!

I think it’s the combination of deep feelings and lighthearted moments, plus the family moments, that makes this book so lovely and charming. I loved all the characters and the wonderful story!

Oh my gosh this was the CUTEST single mom romance!
Jason and Mackenzie did outstanding bringing these characters voices to life.
I loved the knock knock jokes and sweet little Tate with his magic tricks.
And the spice was nice and hot!
Absolutely going to be continuing this series!

Nico is a musician... He’s has eyes for her and no one else since he first met her. Kat is special, and he wants to know her. He’s always wanted that person that he can’t wait to come home to when he’s on the road. He can’t get Kat out of his mind. So he keeps going back....

Kat is a waitress at the coffee shop Nico frequents. She went to film school, is a photographer. She’s not looking for a musician in her life. She needs stability. She thinks Nico is someone who can’t be that for her, so she keeps him at arms length. But he keeps coming back.

Can he be the stability she needs? Is she the woman he thinks she is? Someone he can’t wait to come home to?

You need to read this! Kayley Loring has created some great characters in all of her books! But I love Nico! I loved him in Sleeper, and I’m so glad he got his own book!! Kat is a complex character. There are things in her life he doesn’t know about, things she doesn’t tell him. Can they make their lives work together? It’s fun finding out.

Storia carina ma letto in tre riprese. I due protagonisti sembrano con gli ormoni a palla tutto il tempo anche meno. Tate adorabile

I am totally smitten, in love, and CHARMED by Kayley Loring's newest book!!

Nico Todd hasn't been looking for long term, but it is said, when you find the ONE, you just know. Nico is drawn to the new waitress at a diner close to his home and no matter what he tries to tell himself (which his inner monologues are hilarious) he can't tear himself away from the beautiful, red-lipped woman, even when she turns down his charm.

Kat Dempsey works hard at avoiding Nico's flirting. Yes, she isn't a complete idiot, but she is a single mother with a six year old son and she doesn't have room in her life for a gorgeous musician (much to her body's dismay).

When these two are together the chemistry is seriously hot, but even when they are not you will find yourself laughing over their inner thoughts or swooning over their relationship ride.

As far as Nico Todd is concerned, he is simply adorable! I want all of his focus, attention, and smooth talking charm sent my way. Between him and Shane (from Kayley's Sleeper book and also Nico's best friend) I don't know whom I love more, they are both amazing.

Kat's son, Tate, is super cute! Books with tenacious, precious children are my ultimate kryptonite and not only do you get Tate, but you also get a brief bite of Shane's twins who give Nico a run for his money. Kayley writes the best scenes with children so be prepared to be entertained.

This entire book was excellent from beginning to end. Every character was brilliant. You will not go wrong picking up this charming story today!

There are times I need a story that will not only make me fall in love, but make laugh, tear up, love and just feel good. This book is it! Nico has his heart set on Kat, but being a famous singer, and being a child TV star has made me out of reach to her. Hiring her to document his tour seems to be a logical step to win her heart. But she has a son! And a mother! Just bring them along and see what happens. Now involved and falling for them all, things appear to be on track! But will it stay that way? Will he stay faithful? Will she be able to deal with his fame? And what about her son, Tate? With humor and passion, Kayley Loring gives us Charmer. Nico is swoon worthy! He is good looking and talented, but what makes easy to fall for is his heart. It's huge! He is wonderfully attentive and his scenes with Tate just melt me. Kat is independent, but she definitely holds a bit of insecurity. I love how she puts Tate first, yet wants to balance her life. And her mother is hysterical! The real scene winner is Tate. This little boy is energetic, curious and reminds me so much of my kids! If you want a book that will warm your heart and make you feel happy and make you laugh, pick this one up!

Kayley Loring takes care when casting her books, and Jason Clarke and Mackenzie Cartwright are perfect for this story. Clarke brings so much to Nico. He has that warmth to his voice, making him easy to fall for. And he sings! What a bonus because he is amazing! Cartwright finds the essence of Kat. She has the mother tone and the real woman feels. You can feel the switch, and I love how easy it is for her. Both have incredible comedic timing and truly enhanced this book. Loved their performance.
