You know, I've always wondered in a zombie apocalypse, what you would do with toddlers and babies? They have no concept of silence or danger, but they're also impossible to just turn your back on. This story takes that fear and turns it on to boil. What will a family do to keep together, even amid a baby-craving apocalypse?

This was intense. As a woman, this hit me hard and boy howdy, did it come with so much. Desperate fights against drug-crazed maniacs, twisted journeys through a city destroyed by Baby Fiends, and horrific acts of violence that delve into how depraved humanity can get.

It is gruesome, rough, and really made it impossible for me put it down after about 3/4s of the way through. I never thought I'd want to add such a horrendous cover to my physical collection, but I will be adding this to my library.

It took me a few days to get to 50% (mostly bc of work/time/my attention span), but after I pushed through and it was a roller coaster ride. It felt like that Nicolas Cage film Mandy and that was satisfying. The end is a HUGE cliff hanger, and I was left feeling the need for a better resolution. Which isn’t a bad thing! It just means that there’s room for a sequel.
