I just found the mystery to be very predictable, the prose to be a little dry. This feels very focused on it’s themes, but to me doesn’t have the plot, emotional impact, or prose to really wow me with its ideas. Not bad at all, but definitely overhyped for me.

My love for this book knows no bounds, it just scratches an itch. It is completion and lets you go in peace with it.

A short read, but still dragged in places. Probably could've been a short story.

An enjoyable meditation on solitude and older ways of being. Characters are well-developed despite their relatively brief expositions.

Amazing writing and storytelling skills ! Loved the experience of reading this book, kept me intrigued and asking myself , what’s going on? I would have loved a deeper insight on the resolution but overall an excellent book.

Going into to this book blind was the best decision. I was utterly lost and enchanted by the ways in which this labyrinth world unfolded. I was annoyed at times begging for the plot to be revealed and when it was, I ached for the world to come gently back to Piranesi.
