I enjoyed some the liturgy and scripture references but i’m not sure there was enough content for a book here. It eventually felt repetitive to me.

I’ve yet to read a Ruth Chou Simons book that didn’t meet me exactly where I needed to be met! From unmet expectations and dreams to longings for “someday,” Ruth encourages us to press deeper into Jesus and reframe our thoughts on how God wants us to use and thrive in the less than ideal & often lonely waiting seasons we find ourselves in. A truly powerful and thought-provoking read!

This book was really well done. It offered a lot of practical advice and tips for living (and thriving) in a season of life you don't necessarily want or didn't expect or just in general want to change. It didn't start to feel repetitive like so many other books in this genre can, she kept reminding us of God's plans and provision and overall goodness. Would recommend.
