I think this may be my favorite of the books in the two series so far. Both MCs lost their partners about three years before the book starts so they are dealing with grief, but there isn't a big traumatic incident in the book itself. Plus, FAKE DATING, which is one of my fave trope AND they each have a kid and I say again that the author writes kids well. Plus the spice in this one was spicing. I think overall I'll like this series better and I'm wondering if it's cuz she's written it more recently (the final book isn't even out yet) and her writing has maybe improved? We'll see if this vibe keeps up during book three.

addison and grady's story was one that pulled at my heart! i loved watching them together and found love again after going through the loss that they both had to deal with three years earlier. elodie and jetts friendship, and lets be real, the real reason addison and grady got together.

The chokehold these two had on me was unreal. I normally tend to stray away from widowed single dad romances unless it’s an author I trust. Of course Corinne can write anything and I would love it. You can feel and see that these two, despite the pain they’ve endured, were meant to find love in each other. It’s such a beautiful, fun, hot af story that I read in one sitting because I couldn’t put down. THE MOUTH ON THIS MAN. Yes sir

Wtfff this is so awkward like I thought it was a cute story both single parent and fake dating I was like Yass my favorite tropes. But their situations are so awkward because they are both widowed.

Plus, they act and talk like they are in their twenties. It was so cringe.

I'm loving the "Whitlock Family" series like A LOOOT!!!

Grady and Addy's story, is so wholesome and cute omg!!!!! And also the spice in this is so good!!!

Fake Dating, Single Parents and Small Town are always a killer combo for a book!!!
I really liked that both of the MCs were widowed, it was an interesting take!

Their kids are so freaking adorable and i love that they're besties!!!!

Grady Whitlock can get it anytime tbh! sns

Can't wait for the next one!!!

Thank you Corinne for this ARC

this was very sweet but slow. I don’t know if it’s bc I’m not huge on the fake dating trope or what but I definitely had to drag myself through this book.
