A very candid memoir with recipes. As someone who studied abroad in that fair city nearly 20 years ago, I really can say that I felt as if I was there with David Lebovitz as he shared these anecdotes. Now I want to go back more than ever!

Enjoyed for the very niche reason that I'll soon be traveling to France, wouldn't seek out the author's writing again.
This was an interesting book to read right after returning from Paris. The author identified several idiosyncrasies that I too had noticed about Paris and Parisians.
• Almost no bathrooms (I had to seriously limit my fluid intake)
• Using fork AND knife while eating
• Man purses
• Inadequate shower curtains
• Beautiful but illegible handwriting
• Fantastic food
It was a fun read, and there were even some good looking recipes that I will report on later.

Delightful! Everything I want in a good foodie read: education, humor and unique recipes that I will absolutely be making. This was a wonderful read-myself-to-sleep read and there can never be too many in my book.
