I’ll say that what the ending was NOT what I expected AT ALL, however it didn’t feel totally earned to me. Nonetheless, Freida McFadden is a leader in the genre for dark and twisty stories with unlikeable/unreliable narrators, and this one delivers! I started in print and switched to audio for the recording transcripts.
