I might’ve liked this book when I was 12, not 21. The style of writing reminds me of wattpad, the think-style first person type of writing. I expected more from the plot twist, the only reason I continued reading, but it quickly turned out very cringe, tiktok-y and Y/N vibes. I don’t recommend for actual crime thriller enjoyers.

The more I think about this book the more mad I get.

It kept my attention like most Freida books. Her older work sounds similar to one another. This one in particular had an essence of One by One and The Inmate. Loved them, but this makes her antagonists seem one dimensional.
