Page turner. But I hate when the plot twist relies in just not making sense with the previous part of the book. The internal monologue through the book makes no sense with the revelation, are you hiding to yourself why are you at the house? No, she is hiding it from the reader for the sake of the revelation at the end but it's INTERNAL MONOLOGUE. Even if is an unreliable narrator, there's a difference between that and character inconsistency

I managed to listen to it on audiobook on Spotify in one day so yay!! It was a very easy and good listen.
I had a guess at the beginning that Ethan killed his parents. I was right. And obviously he wasn’t EJ because that would have been the most boring thing it could be. I don’t know if they mentioned Patrica’s name earlier but since j was listening to it not reading it I sometimes didn’t catch the exact name and kinda filled in the blanks for what I thought they said and what not. So I wasn’t overly surprised by the ending, it all made a lot of sense as it was going on. Tricas ‘swoon’ and everything is still euh to me. And no JUDY WAS NEVER THERE. God. I think this might be a 3 honestly but I enjoyed it a lot and I honestly cant tell if I found it predictable or not so…
