This book really kept me on my toes. I wasn’t sure what to expect. I thought I knew what the plot twist was going to be but I was nowhere close. I suspected EJ and Ethan to be the same person but turns out Trisha AKA Patricia was the psychopath the whole time I love how Frida’s books gives such a crazy plot twist that rereading It is always an option. I am really hoping that there is a book number two so I can see if Trisha and Ethan‘s child gives a boomerang effect because I feel like what goes around comes around. They both got off very easy with their crimes and it makes me feel uneasy.

OH MY GOD...OH MY GOD... OH MY GOD.
THAT WAS A SICK TWIST!!!

My reaction though:

A fun quick, twisty read. This one is better than any of [a:Freida McFadden|7244758|Freida McFadden|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1701487498p2/7244758.jpg]'s book and instantly become my #2 favorite (after [b:The Housemaid|60556912|The Housemaid (The Housemaid, #1)|Freida McFadden|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1646534743l/60556912._SY75_.jpg|95443525].

But turns out they found sick-eerie secrets linger in there.

"But denial is a powerful defense mechanism."

I was wrong. I thought I knew the psycho ones. But this book twisted me. I like it!
The eerie vibes that already linger from the first I read this book.
Spoiler Adrienne Hale is a mysterious character, but turns out she's the victim (I feel so sad).

"I buried Adrienne’s body just off a deserted dirt road, about a two-hour drive away from here—somewhere nobody will ever find her."

Like I said, I need another one! I love to read everything this woman wrote.
