I really enjoyed this book. A well woven story and an interesting world. A unique and well-developed story in a time when story telling isn't always noteworthy.

Don’t have anything to say that hasn’t been said about this. But as a newcomer to fantasy, I thoroughly enjoyed this. It really inspired me to dig deeper into similar works.

I first read the Wise Mans Fears back in 2014, back when I was in high school. Being a book borrowed and suggested from a friend I was mostly interested in the adult content in it. Didn’t get much of the story. Only now I read The Name of the Wind. It was a page turner. Read it cover to cover although I was busy with countless due days at uni. I must say it that I am still trying to decide wether to love or hate Denna. If I was Kvothe, I would just forget her and would ask Fela out.

The scene that happened in Trabone hit me really.hard.

This was so hard for me to get into, but once I was into it, I couldn’t put it down!! Can’t wait to see where book 2 goes.
