This book drew me in, in a way that not many books do. I plowed through this book and onto the next. I'm waiting now to read the side story, and will soon be left waiting for the 3rd book of the series like the rest of Rothfuss' fans, but even if it never comes, it will have been worth the read.

this is my favorite epic fantasy book. also, the narrator of the audiobook (Nick Podehl) is absolutely incredible. it switches between third and first person since the main character is basically telling his life’s story. has a really interesting magic system, the prose is amazing, and the humor sprinkled throughout is superb.
kinda the coming of age story of a genius orphan kid trying to make his way in the world
