3.5 stars. I have no idea who this lady is not how I found this book. Dang the audio is so slow at 1x speed. I'm glad I was able to speed it up to 2x. There was a lot of good stuff in the book but I primarily listened to it during a virtual race so I didn't get a chance to write down as much as I'd have liked.

I like how she does a little musical ding to let the audience know that the part they're listening to isn't in the hardcopy book. I want to do that with my book.

She made a seven figure income in a few months? Dang you, people!

I like how she says to pay for close family and loved ones services because they need to get paid and you need to show your support.

Click for but called start with why.

Eniogram institute.com - a website to pay 12 bucks to take a personality test.

5 parts of a good story:
1) exposition - the character is in a conflict at the beginning.
2) rising action - characters meet the conflict
3) climax - suspense builds as characters take action to resolve the conflict
4) falling action - events that lead to final resolution of conflict
5) resolution - goes everything up with a bow

I felt like it was a condensed version of the top business books out there- not a negative, but I've already read those books so this felt like a repeat-it wasn't for me. BUT! this is a great primer for women who know nothing about business but want to start. If you've already started reading and researching about business, you may find this book too entry level.

There are SO many good takeaways in this book for small business owners. It gets to the heart of of the ups and downs of being an entrepreneur.

I received this book from the publisher and Libro.fm in exchange for an honest review.

I was invited to join the launch of this book right as I was aboout to open my own business. It could not have come along a better time! My business is a brick and mortar shop, not an MLM, but LTM's advice was still on point.
As a woman and a mom, Lindsey just "gets it." She acknowledges it's okay that we may not all be good at the same things or want the same things from our lives. We are allowed to dream big dreams and set big goals and build businesses...even while being wives and moms.
Boss Up is full of real life exeperiences, problems, and full of advice on starting your own business. But more importantly, I felt like Moreno was cheering me on and encouraging me to keep going, even when it's hard. As she points out, "the what-ifs and the negative self-talk are hard to combat. But if you're willing, working through it will change your life. If you let it, your business will stretch you in every possible way..."
I recommend this book for every person, male or female, mom, married, divorced, whatever, who is thinking of maybe starting their own business.

I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. I really enjoyed this book. My husband and I are involved in a network marketing company that recently has gone through many changes. This book helped my husband and I decide to remain with the company even after these changes. We both truly live our products and believe in them. So while I continue to work my full time job as a teacher I will also continue to be my own boss and make my own decisions. Thank you Lindsay Teague Moreno for helping us to know without a doubt that we are in control our lives and the choices we make. I would recommend this to future, new, and current business owners.

Lindsay is a captivating and encouraging business motivator. I am not a mom (her target market is momtrepeneurs), but I still resonate with her, her thoughts, plans and sense of humor. Whether you are a small business owner, entrepreneur, or just looking to figure out a new direction this book is for you. This book will inspire you, make you laugh and challenge you to Boss Up!!

I honestly really liked this book, however I do not think I was ready for it. It is for women who own their own businesses, but is filled with great motivation for any aspect of life.

Only rating 5 stars bc Moreno isn't ashamed to be her hilarious, honest, true self and is doing God's work making others laugh through the medium of text and teaching at the same time.

A lot of concepts are brought up from other books targeted audience members may already be familiar with, S.M.A.R.T. goals & ikigai off the top of my head.

THANK YOU FOR WRITING A FUNNY, WELL-MEANING BOOK! Cheers! 🥂 (I can't find an emoji for dry shampoo)
