ARC review; thanks to NetGalley and Udon Entertainment for the access to this ebook. Pub date: Mar 11, 2025.

This manga follows a runaway heiress who meets an off-duty cop who helps her find work, marking the start of their friendship and romance.

First of all, the art gets a full 5 stars. It’s 10/10, incredible. I loved the style so much. This manga should be in a museum and I’d love physical copies so I can look at them whenever I need to feel something good.

The story fell a little short for me in Vol. 1, though. It's slice of life, so it's just vibes, but I didn't feel super grounded in it. Still, I enjoyed the subtle attraction between the characters and I will give Vol. 2 a try.

Very colourful and beautifully crafted artwork. Sometimes it was hard to understand what was happening or the relationship between the main characters. But overall it was fun, fast paced and light read.

A beautifully presented series of vignettes (with a sprinkle of prose and sketches) following the daily lives of Emma, a visually impaired runaway from a rich family, and Alexander, a police officer, after their chance meeting. Kotteri has a clear love of fashion, placing the pair in well-tailored outfits galore accented by use of color. This is a story that trusts the reader to draw their own conclusions about the characters' relationships, though their chemistry and care for each other is undeniable regardless of whether it is platonic or otherwise. I'm curious as to whether or not the status quo will remain the same in the next volumes or if we'll explore Emma's past any further, but either way it's sure to be a treat for the eyes.

This is the cutest thing ever. The art style is quite different from your regular anime. It's hand-written and fully colored and just really pretty. "His" and "Her" relationship is insanely cute. I love the little, subtle interactions even if there's not a whole lot going on.
Highly recommend if you want something light and cute to read in one sitting.

The illustrations are breathtaking. I find the retro style drawings to be so captivating, there were many moments where I wish I was holding the physical copy so I could rip out the pages to hang them up in my house. The still shots of her in different outfits or them sitting together between each scene were so stunning, I’m in awe of the artist. I also really enjoy the handwriting style font. The relationship between the two was intriguing to me as well. I love their playful banter with each other and their ease in every situation knowing the other is there.

Thank you NetGalley for providing me with this ARC!

It doesn't look like the typical manga. It's simple, lyrical, and the art style is unique as well. The story is more like "clips" and glimpses of the characters' lives instead of following a full story. It's very relaxing to read because there isn't much going on.

Sweetest story I've read in a while. Incredibly beautiful illustrations, I'm weeping at how pretty they are. The chemistry between the main characters are witty and cute, also, gorgeous character design! Fashionable, easy-to-read, fun and lighthearted, I could just stare at them forever.
