Charlie & the others are trying to move on from the tragedy of last book, but it's hard to do that when people keep popping up dead with the exact wounds that the springlocks in an animatronic suit would cause.
I wanted to rip out my eyes with this book. Charlie is sooooo fucking annoying. I was really impressed that last book stayed with the YA brand but didn't get that annoying YA logic. This one totally failed the test though. More to say in the spoilers section.
John was awkward and a lil cringe but I could tell that his character was a genuine awkward teenage boy.
The story itself was a little fucking weird, even by FNAF standards. It felt kinda slap dash and I was annoyed by that. Especially when there are so many other ways this could have gone down.
OMG what is this book??? A cop letting a college girl TOUCH a dead body??? Letting her poke around a dead person's house before the police??? Then her standing up John at every single chance she could! Like if you don't like him then don't play this shit. Like she just kept being like "Yeah lets go out!" and then was super annoyed and frustrated the whole time they're together. I hated being forced to read the book from her perspective.
THen the fact that the suits burrowed into the ground like fucking worms????? And the disk things?? And CHarlie literally being murdered at the last second?? And her just being a fucking weirdo the whole time??? Springtrap just tossed in there at the end? OMG I wish I had gotten to die in the rubble of that building just to make thing interesting.
