I really liked The Little French Bistro! It would have been a perfect read for a beach holiday but worked well as at-home book as well. I liked how the main characters were older, 60 and over years old. Too often books only show young people and it was calming somehow to read about these older folks’ adventures.
The Little French Bistro has it all: dramatic beginning, lots of lovely characters, sunny French landscapes, losing and finding oneself, friendship and lovely characters. A light lovely read but with dark undertones.
