Cringey. The first chapter (esp the first page) made me hesitate, but kept reading on as I wanted to love the book. I found the fmc annoying. Dnf
I really wanted to love this book. The premise seemed so good and I was ready to be obsessed, but I just couldn’t. Some parts were so cringe I had to force myself to keep going. I held out hope that it would get better, and I really wanted it to, but it just got worse. There were several plot flaws too. Sometimes I can just overlook things like that, but in this case, just not for me.

I feel like this book hits all the marks but falls short in the writing.
The plot/story is there and even the characters have been developed nicely (ie the author did make them fully rounded people) buuuuuut the mfc has a freak out spiral every ten pages and it gets super old really fast. If you are gonna write a women in tech that has all the makings of a badass just make her a badass.
