Brilliant! Pure Brilliance!
Once again CD Reiss took me through the emotional ringer! I mean I literally read until fell asleep in the book (or Kindle rather) woke up and finished it before I left the bed this morning! She blew me away, like nothing was like I expected in this story. CD Reiss is just brilliant, I mean there really aren't words to describe the amazingness that is Reiss and the beautiful conclusion to Capo and Contessa!

I will review book 2 and this one together, because I read them back to back and can't remember what happened in which book. Normally I stay away from trilogies but I am so happy I gave this one a try, because every book held my attention from the beginning to end. Many times when I try to read a trilogy or a series with 3 or more books I get bored real quick. The reason it didn't happen with this series was because of the consistently great plot and very strong characters. The combination of the plot and characters made one awesome story. I wouldn't even mind another book or two for this series.

Antonio and Theresa are still in one crazy rollercoaster and don't really know how to get out of it. But they stick together and have eachother's backs. Especially Theresa was a Ride-or-Die classy lady. I loved her so much, I want to grow up and be her. The unconditional love she has for her Capo was phenomenal. Antonio tries to protect her, pushes her away and tries to trick her but Theresa is smarter than that. I loved all the action, romance, and SUPER HOT SEX! I also loved all the other characters including Theresa's brothers and sisters. I hope they get their own story. I know Jonathan is the main character in the Submission series so I will definitely add that series to my TBR list.
This book (and series) was emotional - sweet, sad, funny, gritty, sexy. I loved this conclusion, but I'm really sad to be through with Antonio and Theresa!!

I'm so glad that I decided to only read this series when all of them were out. I devoured it. I lived in this story and it made it so much better to not have to wait in between books. To be honest, I was a bit unsure if I would like this series because I have read other books from this author and have not enjoyed them. But this series is a good example of how there may be some books that you don't like but its not fair to be completely put off of an author. Always give them a chance!! Its been a long time since I devoured a series like this and I love it. The writing style is very unusual and different but so so beautiful in its own way. If you love action and love and never knowing what is going to happen and who is going to live or die then this series is for you.
I definitely recommend giving this series a try!!

This was worth the wait.
The book starts slightly before the last book ends from a different perspective. it’s a smooth transition into the next phase of these character’s lives. Everything is in chaos in this book. Everyone is connected and the decisions that are made have a life-long effect.
I was pretty much on the edge of my seat reading Rule. Even the quieter moments were fraught with tension.
This is my favorite of the series. There are so many revelations and surprises, the author keeps you guessing until the end. I must say each book definitely embodies it’s title.
