This is my third Elin Hilderbrand book and now I feel like I need to read every book she's ever written. This one tugged at my emotions big time. Loved it.

I give this book a 3.5 but rated up. I enjoy this author and her stories. I will continue to read her books and would recommend them to others. I liked most of the characters....there were a couple that I just didn't like. It is an easy read and flows pretty well. I look forward to reading more books by this author in the future.

2⭐️ this was a boring read. There’s was nothing that kept me hooked and there was too much going on during the whole book with too many characters crossing paths

This was a good book with likable characters. There was no suspense in this book; just a even flow through the chapters. I felt the book could have ended better. It left me wondering what happened to some of the characters.

It is a beach read and chick lit in many ways but it does deal some tough subjects. I have seen some criticism of the characters, but I thought they were true to point especially the sister dealing with lung cancer. I love the descriptions of Nantucket.

I read this some time ago (before Goodreads), and didn't enjoy it as much as her more recent book, Silver Girl.
