Perry grew up in a minimum security prison where his mother is an inmate. Now, the new DA forces him into living full time in the "outside" world away from his mom and all of his "family". This is a wonderful portrayal of what it is to make mistakes, atone, ask forgiveness, and learning to do the right thing in a world where everything seems wrong. Memorable characters and a great plot will keep you reading.

This book was a very sweet read. I enjoy books that blur the lines between "good" and "evil". This book did a very good job of that. The premise was original and I enjoyed the writing style.
