The beginning and end chapters are best. While still interesting, the middle is long, semi-boring, and easy to get bogged down in.

Did not read the whole book, but was very surprised how readable it is today. It was not as dry as I had feared.

It's hard to rate/review this book... it feels similar to rating the Bible. and it kind of is the Bible... of economics. It's interesting to see how little things have changed in the past 200++ years... and also to relate the whole East India Co. debacle to our current situation.

I included this in my utopia study, and I'm glad I did. First time read, and surprisingly it was interesting, especially the last two books. The author covers a lot of ground with a liberal mix of practical information and practical theory. His comments regarding the American colonies were interesting as well as his comments on slavery and progressive taxation.
I'm pleased I read it, and it was more rewarding than I expected. I need to read more historical nonfiction.
Recommended for anyone brave enough to pick it up.

Started reading it for college, but it's a very dense book, so I'll leave it to read in the future.

Nu mă interesează prea tare subiectul, iar faptul că e scrisă acum 250 de ani o face să fie extrem de plictisitoare.
