Wow. This manga joins my small shelf of asexual-related works and I'm happy to have it! It features Chika exploring her sexuality and learning about herself and the world around her.
I especially love the diversity of orientations in the book, shown in different types of people at different ages and with different interests; yet it doesn't feel like anyone is forced to be a caricature or prop for their sexuality. I love all of the characters in this manga in different ways, for their honesty, integrity, confidence, humility, and much more. I think it does tend to be a bit more emotionally introspective than the population at large, but they're psychology students (as am I) so I feel like it makes sense for them to be how they are.
I love that Chika's genuine curiosity about romantic and sexual feelings is not treated as if it undermines her identity. All of the characters speak from an honest place that helps Chika understand her life and others', and I loved being along for the ride!
It gave me flashbacks to my own experiences, but even aspects I am unfamiliar with were handled so beautifully: straight, gay, asexual or otherwise. Absolute knockout, must-read manga.

I would have liked to have come across this several years ago. This is a lot more nuanced than asexuality usually is in manga (or most media in general that isn't a specific treatise on the ace and aro spectrums). Good standalone book that is informative without hitting you over the head with facts, and compelling enough that the protagonist's journey of self-discovery is interesting without being a flat, step-by-step handbook. Would recommend to people looking to learn more about these identities through a text that isn't purely nonfiction.

I would honestly consider this manga as an important piece of literature for aspec rep, alongside Loveless and Aces Wild. This book does an incredible job in showing the world from someone on the aspec spectrum and dives into a number of things within the aspec communities. There's compulsatory romance; pressures to have sex when you would rather do anything else; fears of being 'broken' on the inside; older aspec people; queerplatonic relationships; and so much respect for Chika and her sexuality. An absolutely incredible book that I would recommend to anyone curious about the aspec community! :D

The term asexual as a spectrum is explained perfectly. Also I love how Chika, Professor, Ume-chan (I can't say represent bcs they're not) were examples that asexuality is so diverse and I quote "take two asexual ppl and you will find they have different view"
