This was really fun, and I can definitely tell this was one of the main inspirations for Matt Reeve's The Batman earlier this year.
The mystery is one that is always intriguing throughout, and the artwork is just breathtaking at some points, as well as chilling ( a specific double-page depiction of certain villains ).
The big plot twist is a little (?) but still a very enjoyable time!

I'm normally not a big Batman fan but this story front to back was amazing! The art was incredible, so many full page scenes that were frame worthy along with the fact that all the fights were so vividly dynamic made this a visual treat. Story had me hooked, all the characters had such unique voices to them, their tangled histories and how as time progresses into the Long Halloween year each is pulled deeper and deeper into the Holiday case. I could go on and on about how enjoyable this was So I'll just end with I HIGHLY recommend this book!

This is considered one of the best Batman stories ever but god I just find it incredibly dull. I've tried to read it before and I barely got much into it this time round.
