“She’s Not Sorry”, by Mary Kubica

3 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 

I used to love reading the books by this author. 

Her 3 releases prior to this one are all sitting on my dnf pile, waiting for a second chance,

This one got my curiosity because of the high ratings, especially by people whose opinions I trust.

But I was very disappointed. I did not find it very engaging or even entertaining.

The development of the storyline was very slow and not that well done.

In my opinion the author should have focused on one or two stories.

As for the writing, it felt lazy, repetitive and there were too much fillers (descriptions of settings and names of the streets, as an example).

Hats off to the twist, far fetched or not.

e-book (Kobo): 327 pages (default), 101k words, 30 chapters (I couldn’t believe its price tag of $19.99!!!, for the ebook!)

Audiobook narrated by Andi Arndt: 10.5 hours (normal speed)

This book was thrilling! So many twists and turns . Most of these twists were unexpected, but there was at least one or two that were predictable which is why i rated it 4.5 stars instead of 5 stars.
