Hell yeah, one for us urban Natives !!! Truly a triumph and a great intro to Native storytelling for the uninitiated---many perspectives, nonlinear, intertwining, all coming around in the end. I do feel like it could've used just 10-20 more pages at the end to really stick the landing.

One of the best books I believe I have ever read. The changing perspectives with various characters in various points of view both brought me into this story at points and kept me at a distance during others. Beautiful and devastating, I will probably think about it forever.

Great story told in a creative fashion - struggled a bit with the breadth of the cast of characters and their relationships to one another but appreciated that it was multi generational.
