This book was everything. It broke me apart and put me back together and I honestly can’t remember the last time a book made me feel this raw. I don’t want to say too much, just that it’s an extremely harrowing journey into what it means to be alive and I wasn’t prepared.

I had a rough start with this one and almost put it down. Now I’m just glad that I didn‘t! It was a slow-burn but eventually I did start to really love these characters and get invested and I’ve cried almost all the way through the last 30-or-so% of this book. I’m not above DNFing a book, but sometimes you just gotta have faith!

This one took me longer than House in the Cerulean Sea, but I still loved it. Quitely beautiful and moving.
